What’s Trending in the Dev Community

Welcome to a recap of what’s trending in the BigCommerce Developer Community. Every other week, we’ll take a look at the discussions happening. You’ll see our most popular and insightful conversations, along with questions that could use your expertise or helpful advice.

This week, the BigCommerce Developer Community discussed building custom checkouts with the BigCommerce Checkout SDK and our Server-to-Server APIs. Users are also experimenting with displaying elements in their themes differently, and retrieving additional blog information to show to customers.

Can’t Miss Conversations

  • User catokx is building a custom checkout using the Checkout JS SDK. They want to call some JavaScript before redirecting the customer to the order confirmation page and they’re having trouble using service.finalizeOrderIfNeeded() with a specific payment gateway. Read more about the issue on GitHub.

Share a Solution
