In the BigCommerce Developer Community, we’re seeing conversations about custom state-targeted promotions, incorporating carousels that support swiping on mobile devices, and setting up wishlist functionality on catalog pages.
📣 Announcements
- BigCommerce for WordPress V4.20.0 is now available: This update includes upgrades to cart functionality and fixes for known issues. Read all of the details of this release in the Developer Changelog.
- Cornerstone V6.1.2 and V6.1.3 are now available: These updates include fixes for known issues. All closed issues brought in for these releases can be found in the Developer Changelog.
- New Developer Documentation: We recently added documentation to support the Abandoned Cart Emails. To preview examples and read the overview of this new V3 API (open beta), check out the docs in our DevCenter.
- New status code for API requests: Some V2 and V3 endpoints will now return a 207 Multi-Status code when multiple operations have taken place, but a partial failure has likely occurred. See our docs on API Status Codes for more information.

🗣 Can’t Miss Conversations

- Danielle had a requirement involving a US state-targeted promotion to offer free shipping to CA customers when reaching a certain cart total. Have clients given you a similar request, or are you curious to know what the solution was? Check out this amazing thread in the #general channel of the BigCommerceDevs Slack where Danielle resolved this with a no-code solution!
- Geoff was looking to convert their homepage image into a slick carousel that supports swiping on mobile & tablet devices. One roadblock in resolving this was the built- in Zoom js functionality, which caused conflict and needs to be worked around.
