In the BigCommerce Developer Community, we’re seeing conversations about when to use conditions in the native pdp vs using custom templates, tips and tricks with SEO auditing tools as well as workarounds to localizing shipping providers display names.

• BigCommerce for WordPress V4.13.0 is now available: This version brings in new additions to the plugin as well as changes and fixes to improve functionality. See more details about this release in the Developer Changelog.
• Cornerstone V5.6.0 is now available: With this new version of Cornerstone, you’ll find maintenance updates and bug fixes. Read more about this release in the Developer Changelog
• Blueprint Theme Framework Update: Internet Explorer 11 and later have been removed as supported browsers for the Control Panel. More information on this update and a link to our updated docs can be found in the Developer Changelog.

🗣 Can’t Miss Conversations

Some of our favorite, trending conversations from the BigCommerce Developer Community.

• Vasile Catalin Stefan has been localizing stores lately and started to seek a workaround to localizing the “Free Shipping” shipping provider option on the storefront, as this is not translatable via en.json. Check out the successful workaround in the Developer Community.
• Jay Teichman reached out for some insight on improving SEO as they’re using SEMrush to check their SEO and to receive ideas for site improvements. Tony McCreath then stepped in with some great advice on general SEO and tips when using SEMrush, as well as other SEO audit tools. • Nathan Saritschniy has an integration with ZipPay which shows a ‘pay over time’ widget on all native PDPs. However, this is not visible on their custom templates.
