Welcome to a recap of what’s trending in the BigCommerce Developer Community. Every other week, we’ll take a look at the discussions happening in our dev spaces. You’ll see our most popular and insightful conversations, along with questions that could use your expertise or helpful advice.

In the BigCommerce Developer Community, we’re seeing conversations about storing access tokens for app development with Laravel, using custom templates to give individuality to products, and using the script manager to track individual Facebook Pixel events for specific pages.

  • Added API Support: The GraphQL Login Mutation now returns the entire Customer object! Now you can fetch all of the details of the customer account after a successful login. To find all the details, check out the Developer Changelog.
  • Added API Support: You can now sort your products within categories using the sortBy parameter in GraphQL Storefront API requests. Read more about this in the Developer Changelog.
  • Cornerstone V5.5.0 is now available! This release includes updated styles for compliance requirements, added payment banner settings, fixed focus trap on all modals and more! You can find all of the other updates about this release in the Developer Changelog.

🗣 Can’t Miss Conversations

  • Nathan Saritschniy was looking to dynamically inject components in their template using the concat handlebars helper but became blocked when trying to modify the component injection logic.
