It’s been a while — hope you’re doing well. This month, The Bigger Picture is teaming up with The Writing Cooperative to inspire more amazing stories from some of our favorite writers (that’s you).

As part of TWC’s 2019 Writing Challenge, we’re encouraging writers to submit their best, funniest, most inspirational, most mysterious, most heartbreaking, or just downright unforgettable stories — for a chance to win some cool prizes!

Here are the details:

Prompt: Tell us about the most memorable piece of mail you’ve ever received. Maybe it’s a letter. Maybe it’s a package. Perhaps a bill, or direct mail advertisement? Whatever comes to mind when you start thinking about this prompt, there’s definitely a story behind it. And we want to read yours.

Guidelines: We’re looking for creative non-fiction and personal essays, up to 1,000 words. Each writer is only allowed one entry.

What you can win: After reading all of the submissions, we’ll select one winner to receive a prize pack of exclusive swag from The Writing Cooperative. We’ll also feature our favorite stories in The Bigger Picture.

How to submit: Simply fill out this Google form. Make sure you submit your story link in DRAFT mode; already published work will not be considered.

Deadline: Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. ET

Looking forward to reading about your mail. Can’t wait to see what stories you’ve got to tell.

All the best,

Ryan from TBP
