Figure: Scan Away

Big Neon, began its mobile first journey on January 22, 2019. Working with one of our pilot promoter clients in San Francisco, we hosted a mobile exclusive event where fans received and redeemed their tickets through the Big Neon app.

Although mobile ticketing has been around for a while, we use it as our primary ticket fulfillment method. Fans are open to our mobile-first process with over 90% of attendees downloading the Big Neon app prior to arriving at our inaugural event. Gone were the PDFs and physical tickets, allowing roughly 400 fans to be scanned in quickly without fuss. Enabling them to spend more time inside enjoying the music and buying drinks rather waiting in line.

Fans who do not use smartphones or ran out of batteries had no difficulty getting into the venue. All they need to do is show a valid photo ID to the host who checks them off using the Big Neon Guest List feature.

Hosts use our Doorman App that can be used with any smartphone. It’s two core features are scanning for those with QR codes and Guest List for those with photo IDs.
