Somos Productions, Boomdog, Piñolywood Studios and Endemol Shine Latino have joined forces to produce the first-ever scripted drama series chronicling the most successful Latin boy band of all time, Menudo.

Subete a Mi Moto — The History of Menudo offers the story of how Menudo came to form, and their groundbreaking rise to success thereafter. Originally established in Puerto Rico during the 1970s by Edgardo Diaz, Menudo forever altered the Latin music landscape, launching numerous hit songs like “Quiero Ser” and “Claridad,” and the eminent music careers of Ricky Martin and Draco Rosa, among many others.

“There’s never been anything like Menudo in Latin music history, a band that’s success spans four decades and launched some of the biggest names in the industry,” says Laurens Drillich, President of Endemol Shine Latino. “Subete a Mi Moto — The History of Menudo will take viewers behind the scenes from the band’s Puerto Rican origins through its unprecedented global success.”

The first season of the series will focus on the origins of the band and their instantaneous rise to fame.
