-16 and feels like -43, but hey, at least it’s sunny…

The National Weather Service issued a wind chill warning that will remain in effect until 12:00 PM Thursday, January 31st. Wind chills as low as 30 to 50 below. Yikes.

Authorities in most of the midwest have advised that people stay inside as the weather can cause frostbite in 5 minutes. As we brace for record-breaking temperatures, hopes of working or binge-watching shows are being dashed by local internet providers.

According to ‘Down Detector’ and my fellow citizens on Twitter, Xfinity, Mediacom, and Spectrum are experiencing outages across Chicago, Minneapolis, Green Bay, and even stretching into the east coast towards New York.

-50 degree weather and no internet? This is a millennial horror film in the making.

Stay warm, my friends.
