How to Buy Your First Binamon NFT! (Genesis, Energy, & Crypton)

In this guide, I’ll walk you through the 3 different types of NFTs in the Binaverse and which ones are right for you.

What are the 3 Types of Binamon NFTs?
There are currently 3 types of Binamon NFTs — Binamon Genesis, Energy, and Binamon Crypton NFTs.
Binamon Genesis NFTs
These NFTs are Genesis Binamons, which are the original Binamons that are used for a variety of in-game features. If you’re new to Binamon, this is the first type of Booster Pack you’ll likely want to buy.
When you purchase Binamon Genesis NFTs, you’ll find that each NFT has the following characteristics or traits:
- Class: Binamons are classified from class 1 to 12. This allows you to battle Binamons of the same class. The higher the class of a Binamon, the better the rewards in tournaments.
- Attack: The attack is the strength of a Binamon. Attack ranges anywhere from 1 to 12.
- Hornpower: The defense a Binamon has to withstand attacks. This number ranges from 10–100
- Element: The element gifts the Binamon with unique qualities. We currently have 6 possible elements: Forest, Water, Fire, Light, Psychic, and Quantum.
- Power: This trait will be used more in later updates, but for now the higher the power, the overall better the NFT.
You might also notice some text underneath the Genesis NFTs that says ‘Algorithmic cost.’ The Algorithmic Cost is determined based on the difficulty of generating the characteristics of a Binamon. The more rare your Binamon’s traits, the higher the algorithmic cost
You can use the Binamons you collect in Quick Battle Mode, earning BMON tokens in the process. You can also simply hold your Binamons and automatically earn BMON and BNRG staking rewards every 24 hours.

You can also use these Binamons in the upcoming adventure mode (to be released), as well as trade them in the P2P NFT trading platform.
As an extra bonus, a percentage of tokens used to buy Binamons Crypton are automatically distributed among Binamon Genesis holders (We’ll get to that later).
Energy NFTs
Energy NFTs will be used to Merge and upgrade Binamons in the future.
Unlike Binamon Genesis NFTs, Energy NFTs only have 2 different characteristics — element and class. In order to power up your Binamon, you’ll need the Energy NFT with the same element and class as your Binamon.
The more rare the Binamon, the harder it will be to acquire energy. The more common the Binamon, the better the chances of obtaining a matching Element.
You can think of Energy NFTs as the rocket fuel your Binamons need to get to the next level.
You can also simply hold the NFTs to earn more BNRG tokens every single minute.
Binamon Crypton NFTs
Binamon Crypton NFTs, also known as Z1 Monsters, are special Binamons used within the new Binamon planet, Crypton. With these Binamons, you can earn rewards in the new Crypton-based game as well as trade them in the marketplace in the future.
Purchasing Binamon NFT Booster Packs
The Binaverse currently has 3 tokens:
- The BMON token, used to buy Binamon Genesis NFTs and Binamons Crypton
- The BNRG token, used to buy Energy NFTs
- The BMON-Z1 token, used to buy Crypton Binamons
In order to buy Booster Packs, you’ll need the respective tokens. To obtain these tokens, you can use the ‘Trade’ feature and swap your BNB for the respective tokens in Pancakeswap’s exchange.
It’s also useful to know that you’ll receive 3 random NFTs per Booster Pack you purchase.
Special Note: The price for these NFT Booster Packs may increase in the future due to the ‘Halving’ Event. During the halving, the number of tokens required to open a booster pack increases depending on the number of NFTs minted. For more information on Halving, please visit the document here.
To buy an NFT Booster Pack, please make sure your cryptocurrency wallet is first connected by clicking on the ‘Connect’ button at the top-right of the screen. Next, click on the ‘Shop’ icon in the app. You’ll then be greeted with this screen:
You’ll also be able to see the respective prices for each Booster Pack. In order to first buy a Pack, you’ll need to complete 2 transactions — the approval transaction, which grants access to Binamon to spend your tokens, and the purchase transaction, which spends your tokens.
Each Booster Pack has different token requirements:
- Binamon Genesis NFT Booster Packs: BMON tokens. When you buy the NFTs, the used tokens will be burned forever. These Packs increase in price by 200 BMON tokens every time 50,000 monster NFT cards are minted.
- Metaverse Energy NFT Booster Packs: BNRG tokens. Similar to the Binamon Genesis Packs, the tokens used are also burned. This Booster Pack increases in price by 20 BNRG tokens every time 10,000 energy cards are minted.
- Binamon Crypton NFT Booster Packs: Both BMON-Z1 and BMON tokens. 75% of the BMON used is sent to the rewards staking pool, and given out to those that hold Genesis Binamons NFTs. The Booster Packs increase in price by 200 BMON-Z1 and 50 BMON tokens every time 20,000 monster NFT cards are minted.
