Announcing Binance Info 2.0
A comprehensive platform for third-party rating reports
The cryptocurrency industry has developed rapidly in the last 10 years, with exchanges, projects, capital and media reaching new heights. At its peak, the total crypto market cap surpassed $800 billion USD, and within a two year span — May 2016 to May 2018 — more than 1,000 projects raised funding through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO).
At Binance, our vision is to build a complete blockchain ecosystem. Since we launched our Exchange on July 14, 2017, we’ve grown to become the world’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume and we’ve helped launch a charity arm, blockchain education portal, and information platform — each of which contributes to the ecosystem in extraordinary ways.
In particular, we want to bring your attention to Binance Info.
Binance Info is designed to enable users to quickly learn about each project and the network and services it provides. Our Info team has analyzed more than 1,400 coins and tokens to date, and today, we are proud to announce the beta launch of Info 2.0.
Info 2.0 may be the most comprehensive compilation of third-party rating reports on blockchain projects that’s available. For this upgrade, we’ve compiled resources from more than 50 rating agencies, capital and media across the globe to build a library of nearly 1,000 reports.
In building an expansive third-party rating platform based on well-researched reports, our goal is to help users learn more about the blockchain projects in our ecosystem. These project evaluations are free to download for all users — so, whether you’re looking for more information on a project’s white paper, utility or founding team, you can likely find the answer at Info.Binance.com.
On the Info home page, you’ll see the rating reports listed alongside a banner showing the top four active coins. Each report shows the name of the project, source of the reports, and each agency’s unified rating on a 5-star scale:
- 5 — excellent
- 4 — good
- 3 — average
- 2 — below average
- 1 — poor
You can unlock Info project overviews with a single click.
Click on any rating report and you will be automatically directed to see its details. To the left, you’ll find a preview of the rating report with headline and summary, then the rating criteria for each institution. Whether it’s a specific score or an ABCD letter grade, each presentation will match a detailed system and indicator.
The rating section currently supports easy-to-access, free downloads for both Chinese and English reports. We are also working on adding more interactive features, and will continue to add video rating contents as well.
Clicking on a coin will take you to its Info page. In addition to basic information on each project’s white papers, token supply and real-time candlestick charts, a new list of rating reports has been added, including: professional third-party rating reports, and project reviews by research institutions, capital, media, and even key industry opinion leaders. No need to search for individually project ratings online — Binance Info has the information neatly packaged up for you.
