Donation Summary

With your generous support, we have raised roughly $410,000 more in donations in the last 7 days, making a total donation currently valued at $1,410,000 USD and consists of Ether and 30 different types of ERC20 Tokens. We will give this donation to the disaster areas in multiple rounds. For our first round of donations, we will be converting 50,000,000 JPY worth of crypto into Bitcoin, and then into Japanese Yen. Since Binance does not have a presence in Japan, this will be conducted through our partners in Japan. To ensure the safe transfer of funds, we will confirm the local partner’s address with a 0.1 BTC test transfer before sending the remainder. After converting to Japanese Yen, this allocation will be divided into 25,000,000 JPY bank transfers to two officially registered NPOs that are actively providing relief to Hiroshima and Okayama prefectures. Through our initial discussions with both NPOs’ leadership, we are confident that this Round 1 Donation will drive recovery efforts in two of the areas hit hardest by the West Japan Flooding.
