In 2014 and 2015, we undertook The Great Weaver Purge of Idylwood. We got rid of 40% of our possession, including some dresses that I’d had since high school. The kids were four and one when we started; our family had doubled in size and our house had not. I was 36 when we began the overhaul, coming up on 40 and entering a whole new phase of my life — looking to balance my new family, my marriage, my autonomy, motherhood, plus an idea for a business that was too good to be ignored.
