What does the re-opening of Theatres mean to Telugu cinema?

Well, finally that time has come for which millions of Telugu hearts have waited for a long time, that time has come where the whole cast and crew are gonna keep their finger crossed to witness the reception of the audience, that time has come where the producers and people involved in the cinema business are eager to analyze the box office numbers and to study the trend, ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’, which is releasing on Dec 25th will be the first Telugu movie to have a direct theatrical release post lockdown.

Movie industries and theatres have taken a huge hit due to the pandemic and it’s time to bring back the glory of theatres. Telugu cinema is undoubtedly one of the biggest in India in terms of market, scale, productions, etc.., this movie will not entirely decide the future of Telugu cinema but it gauges the mood of the audience.

The booking of the movie ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ has been exceptional till now, but the interesting thing to see would be the non-booking traditional audience turn out. As far as safety is concerned at the theatres, people are pretty much aware of the precautions that are being taken place at the theatres.

The important thing that needs to be discussed here is the unity among the movie personalities in Telugu cinema. Every other actor is promoting or talking about the movie and boosting the confidence of the audience to watch it in theatres, huge stars like Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi showed excitement about the Telugu cinema’s first release post lockdown.

Many Telugu movies are lined up for release in the next couple of months and it will be a huge relief if the audience starts back the practice of going to theatres. Even we may see all the stars coming forward to inculcate the safe feeling towards theatre watching shortly. So, this reopening of theatres with a Telugu cinema means a lot to many people out there including movie lovers.
