When asking programmers, entrepreneurs, and a gaggle of assorted creatives in informal Bubble focus groups to cite instances in which Boston has been propped in pop culture as a beacon of divine innovation, we were a bit disappointed, though not altogether surprised, that north of 90 percent said something along the lines of “Facebook,” “Mark Zuckerberg,” or, in most cases, “Jesse Eisenberg,” which is technically incorrect.
