The US Bioeconomy is on track to contribute more than $4 trillion to the global economy over the course of the next decade

It is certainly a hope-filled assessment about the potential of the bioeconomy to bring positive, international, economic growth. But in turning our attention to the state of our own nation, the question becomes:

What is the United States doing to grow and shape its domestic bioeconomy? And what are some unmet needs that inhibit its sustained and exponential growth?
