The BIOP Initial Listing

Today BIOP was listed on Uniswap. This initial decentralized exchange listing resulted in a new and very curious community on Telegram expanding rapidly.

This article attempts to clear up the confusion on the circulating supply, the initial market capitalization, and the fully diluted market capitalization of BIOP now that the value is determined by the laws of supply and demand.

TL;DR
A few days ago, 31 million BIOP governance tokens were minted. Since then, this is how approximately 10M tokens have been distributed/allocated:

Tiered IBCO: 6M BIOP (Circulating)
Airdrop: ~100K BIOP (Circulating)
Existing V2/V3 Swap Reserve: ~520K BIOP (Circulating)
Utilization Rewards: 1.4 M (Pending)
Yield Farming: 1.34M (Pending)

BIOP listed publicly today at 9:02:41 PM Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) on Uniswap. The BIOP governance token has been through 4 versions. The fourth is now publicly tradable on Uniswap.

It was initially priced in ether at 0.00005 ETH (~13.6 cents) at listing. That’s because Dereek69 created a Uniswap pool with 1,000,000 BIOP and 50 ETH. This was then locked in Unicrypt for three months.

Initial Market Capitalization

The initial market capitalization of BIOP in circulation is ~$900,134.64. This market capitalization was determined using a circulating supply of 6.62M BIOP (from the Tiered IBCO, Airdrop, and Existing v2/v3 Swap Reserve) at 13.6 cents per BIOP.
