Liquid warm wallet incident report — BTRN token holders impacted

Dear Biotronians,

As you may have heard, Liquid detected unauthorized access to some of the crypto wallets managed at Liquid last Aug. 19, 2021, and we’ve noticed the amount of 57,023,772.26 BTRN tokens was also impacted. Details of the incident can be found here.

Biotron Foundation will continue to do everything in its power to mitigate the impact from this incident. Therefore we decided to donate all 57,023,772.26 BTRN tokens to Liquid, so all impacted BTRN token holders on Liquid could be compensated and their stolen BTRN tokens replaced.

Liquid will enable deposits and withdrawals for BTRN token tomorrow Sept 1st, and will make all withdrawal fees for BTRN free for next 3 months.
