New team members
Kellie Morton, Chief Legal Officer
Kellie joined the Birchal team as Chief Legal Officer in September 2020. Formerly Chief Legal Officer at Illion, Kellie joins with a wealth of capital markets and private equity experience gained in New York, London and as a partner at a leading Australian law firm.

Ashwin Ramachandran, Campaign Manager
Ashwin joined the Campaign Management Team in November 2020. Ashwin has spent the last ten years across six countries, and joins Birchal with a background in Strategy & Operations, specialising in Customer Strategy and Operations Transformation. Alongside running his side hustle ēthikos, Ashwin is already making a massive contribution to Birchal’s campaign management team, prospecting startups across Australia and enabling successful equity crowdfunding investment campaigns.

Promotions
Robin Holt, Head of Campaign Management
We are delighted to announce the promotion of Robin Holt to Head of Campaign Management. Robin joined Birchal in September 2018 from Crowdcube in the UK, bringing with him a wealth of experience and insights from the UK equity crowdfunding industry. Robin has made a tremendous contribution to the Birchal team, and the Australian equity crowdfunding industry more broadly.

Claire Brown, Senior Campaign and Success Manager
We are delighted to announce that Claire Brown has been promoted to the role of Senior Campaign Manager and Success. Claire joined Birchal in May 2019 and has made an enormous contribution to the Birchal team and our clients. In addition to Claire’s key role in the Campaign Management Team, Claire also works with Birchal’s funded companies to help them on their journey post-raise.
