First of all, ensure there’s ETH in your wallet this will be used for gas fees, note that the fees varies.

STEPS ON HOW TO BUY $BIRD ON UNISWAP

STEP 1: Go to the Uniswap interface

STEP 2: Click on connect to a wallet

Select the wallet you’re connecting to, maybe Trust Wallet or Metamask or any other supported ethereum wallet.

STEP 3: Within the “From” section, Select the token you’d like to exchange from. In this case, you will have to select ETH.

STEP 4: Within the “TO” section, Select the token you’d like to exchange to. Here, you select BIRD OR paste the contract address 0x70401dFD142A16dC7031c56E862Fc88Cb9537Ce0 into the search field.

STEP 5: Enter the amount you want to trade and set your slippage.

Steps to setting your slippage tolerance:

Its always advisable to have a tight slippage to avoid getting frontruned by bots

i. Click on the gear/setting icon on the upper-right hand (If you’re on desktop) or lower left-hand corner (if you’re on mobile) of the uniswap page to access the transaction settings.

ii. Enter your desired slippage tolerance or use the default settings.

iii: You can manually enter a desired slippage.

STEP 6: Click on “confirm swap”

STEP 7: Preview the transaction, click on “Network fee edit” and select the network fee you’re willing to pay click on “save” .

STEP 8: Click on “Confirm” button.

STEP 9: Wait for the transaction to be confirmed on the ethereum blockchain, you can either click on the “Close” button or “view on Etherscan”.

Once the transaction is confirmed, the $BIRD token will be sent directly to your wallet.
