It was this time of the year again: Overcrowded Co-Working-Spaces, inspiration in the air and Berlin was still more captured by entrepreneurial spirit than usual. It was NOAH-time; for at least two days the German capital was the epicentre of start-up Europe.

Earlybird Tech Soirée @ Victoria Bar Berlin

For over twenty years, Earlybird has been an integral part of this epicentre and a strong partner for the European start-up ecosystem — and as such we certainly don’t miss the chance to meet & greet well-known friends and partner, familiar companies as well as new faces at this year’s NOAH conference.

During these two days, Berlin was packed to the brim with inspiring founding personalities with whom we will talk at NOAH, discuss new business models and examine the progress of promising ideas. And just as Berlin has changed in recent years, NOAH has also changed: “NOAH Berlin has become much bigger and more professional, which also reflects Berlin’s development. From the side event of the London main conference to today’s main event. And a must for the EU tech scene,” says Earlybird co-founder Christian Nagel.

This year together with our partner Draper Esprit we created an additional platform alongside NOAH: For the first time, we invited on Thursday, 13th June, founders and CEOs, managers of Fortune 500 companies, investors and other inspiring thinkers of the tech scene to the Tech Soirée at the Victoria Bar. The aim was to further strengthen the exchange between European founders.

We are not only an integral part of many different ecosystems, we also believe that exciting things emerges from exchange. In addition, with the Tech-Soirée we are creating an ideal platform for our portfolio entrepreneurs to exchange ideas with each other, but also to talk to corporate representatives and investors, explains Christian Nagel: “We want to connect founders and VCs, this is the core element for a functioning venture capital ecosystem. It’s already working well in Berlin, we want to contribute to making it even better and more international.”

Around 150 guests made the evening a complete success and we are looking forward to seeing you at one of the next events or conferences. By now: New inspiration accomplished and further European exchange enhanced.
