Have you ever heard the “work only 4 days per week”? Foreign sounding? Yes. But did you know that by implementing this system in a company, it can make the company more and more productive?

Logically, the calculation of working 4 days a week doesn’t seem to be sufficient compared to the normal working time, but why is it arguably more productive? Here are the reasons why 4 working days are a good strategy for the company and its employees.

1. It will make employees more productive

Why? With less amount of working hours, employees will be eager to finish their weekly job as soon as possible, so on day 5 they won’t have to worry about work anymore.

2. It makes the boss and employees happy

Vacation is the key of sucess. Since everyone gets more holidays with the 4 working days regulation, the boss and the employees can therefore enjoy living their life with family or go out of town and have an awesome journey, which everybody wishes to have.

If the boss wants more holiday, so do the employees! Treat others as you wish to be treated.

3. Employees will not look for other companies

By working only for 4 days a week, employees will not have the intention to resign or find any weird excuse just to get a day off. For this reason, the general employees’ aspirations are indirectly fulfilled, and therefore they will come to work feeling content, confident, inspired, and that’s all that matters.

4. The bond between the boss, family, and employees will be stronger

Because work is not just a job. Work is not only about making money or fulfilling needs, but it’s more than that. Work is also about a good working environment, relationship, teamwork, and platform to express creativity and ideas, where every employee can feel like they are in their second home and have a second family.
