Ethereum now available on Bit Trade

Proposed in late 2013, Ethereum is an open software platform that uses blockchain technology to facilitate the creation and deployment of decentralised applications. Although both bitcoin and Ethereum utilise blockchain technology, they differ considerably in purpose and ability.
Bitcoin offers a peer-to-peer electronic payment system. The bitcoin blockchain tracks the ownership of cryptocurrency to prevent fraud and double-spending. The Ethereum blockchain, on the other hand, ensures the decentralised applications built on Ethereum run as programmed, without censorship or third-party interference.
Miners that participate in the Ethereum network mint Ether (ETH). Ether is used by developers to pay for fees and services on the Ethereum network, and is also valued as a tradable cryptocurrency. As of May 2018, ETH has a market cap of over $770 million USD.
