Cell phones of drivers are now POS with innovative BiTaksi product. This article explains how we turn drivers’ cell phones into POS devices and its advantages for both drivers and passengers.
Our new feature for BiTaksi Driver Application has recently been released, BiTaksiPOS.
BiTaksiPOS is a POS feature embedded into BiTaksi Driver Application that offers contactless card payments to passengers. Android phones with Near-field Communication (NFC) features are convenient for this product.
With this unique POS solution in taxis, we are making transactions easier for both passengers and drivers.
This development is revolutionary in terms of taking drivers’ taximeter fees online, quickly, and safely with NFC technology.
The advantages of this product can be examined in terms of two-point of view.
Firstly, from the drivers’ point of view:
- There is no need for a POS device in the taxi, the only thing that driver needs is Android cell phone with NFC feature and BiTaksi Driver application.
- It is so easy to use. This POS feature is embedded with the BiTaksiPOS driver application. To take payment, it is enough to enter the amount. When passengers hold the card closer to the POS-enabled BiTaksi Application on the driver’s phone, the payment is made quickly, easily, and securely.
- It is all free for the drivers, no commission must be paid by drivers.
Secondly, it has so many advantages for passengers:
- In the pandemic world, people hesitate to carry cash because of health concerns so online payment has become more common. Thanks to this application, passengers can pay the taximeter fee without contact with money.
- Passengers do not have to wait while paying the fee. The payment process takes 3 seconds to complete.
- They will be able to access the digital slip on his/her own phone and see all information related to his/her payment.
- Passengers can safely make their payment with a protected infrastructure.
