BitAstir leverages 2 different staking modules for the $BITA token; BASE stake & LQP / liquidity-provider staking. Base staking is the name of $BITA’s core staking module. It is built on the foundation of the most resilient & tested token staking models in the industry, where users are committing their tokens directly to the network. While allocated to the network, the tokens are utilizes for some kind of purpose; at the highest level those purposes are: securing the network, driving adoption & exploring the possibilities of economic velocity.
Of course, while tokens are allocated to do this they are located in HOT wallets & are susceptible to a high degree of risk; therefore the stakers are rewarded (in the form of $BITA yield) for this risk.
Given the assumption that the key user archetype for a staker would be an athlete, yield provides a limited solution/ value proposition. In order for the $BITA token to attain a genuine foothold in the Metaverse Sport Marketplace, & subject itself to the recursive “staking-economics cycle” BitAstir has to provide something greater. Thus, with great pride we reveal the BitAthlete Staking guide — a system that leverages novel social & biomechanical elements, as well as, fundamental economic ones, to establish an ecology suited for athleticism/sport/performance.

The More users stake tokens → the less tokens there are available to be accrued from the open market → the less tokens there are, the more sensitive the price becomes →(assuming the underlying token’s platform is continually improving), the more desirable & rare those tokens become.
