Dear User,

On June 8th we released the first cut of the Bitbns Google Sheets API with a sample SIP application built into the library. The first article of this series covered the features of version 1.0.0 of the library.

Today, we are releasing version 2.0.0 of the library with a new functionality of portfolio sheets to track portfolio value over hourly, daily and weekly basis as well as many changes and improvements in the SIP module.

Full list of changes can be found here and below.

  • Users can now start SIP in USDT pairs as well as do SIP in coins like BNB,MATIC which had issues earlier
  • If case of insufficient user balance, the SIP add-on will send a mail to the google account email which is linked to the spreadsheet
  • In case of Weekly and Monthly SIP, the order for first instalment will be placed immediately as opposed to after one week/one month earlier.
  • The add SIP sidebar shows the min amount needed for each pair fetching it dynamically from the backend

For existing users

  • Make a note of existing SIPs(copy them to new sheet)
  • Delete the old spreadsheet from Google Drive. This will delete all triggers for SIPs as well
  • Follow the instructions given below and add the SIPs again

For New Users

Please refer to the step-by-step instructions given in part I of this article to install the google-sheet-api addon or watch this video.
