Our main focus in the last 2 weeks has been removing errors associated with the new version of BitBoost Marketplace. BBM now runs on the live Ethereum network and new problems have surfaced which were not present in the Ropsten test version.

Two of our live network errors were gas related. We’ve found solutions but we have not yet confirmed that they work 100% of the time. Therefore, we are continuing to investigate this.

Another significant area of focus has been eliminating 3 EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) issues that emerge in various scenarios and ensuring that all end-points exist within the back-end for the new IPFS layer.

Here is a list of the most recent bug fixes:

  • Wrong category count
  • Clear cache, preferences and saved data return non-existent API call
  • No message displayed inside item transaction page
  • Ticking one Store name selects all stores

And a list of known unresolved issues:

  • Accept IPFS sale returns “Error: nonce too low”
  • IPFS purchases are not logged in My Purchases
  • Chat is not working from My Purchases page
  • Accept IPFS sale returns: “Returned error: insufficient funds for gas * price + value”
  • Dev tools — address.toLowerCase is not a function

We also intend to provide accurate information regarding the gas dependencies to users via a list inside the app.
