Are Young Republican Men Being Forced Into Singledom?
Fewer and fewer women are willing to date conservative men
Would it surprise you to hear that male Trump voters have a harder time finding a woman to date them than their liberal counterparts? Statistically, it’s true — and it’s dwindling their marriage options.
It didn’t surprise me. I’m one of those women who won’t pitch hit on the other side of the political spectrum.
If a dude has a MAGA hat on, I’m swiping left.
It’s not a stretch to believe that many women don’t want to date men who idolize the ‘grab ’em by the pussy guy.’ A man who led the overturning of their rights, who values women based primarily on their looks, and who had the lowest amount of female appointees.
Oh, and a man who says things like, “If Hillary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband, what makes her think she can satisfy America?” and “Women: you have to treat ’em like shit." Trump aside, some parts of the Republican party are a little better. Or at least, less worse. But it’s not a very female-friendly party.
But we can get past political affiliations for love. Err, right?
As it turns out, no.
