Childless Women Have No Stake in Our Countries? Bullshit, JD Vance
History shows many childless women cherish the chance to serve their country

That was how JD Vance insulted Kamala Harris, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and other women who do not have biological children in an interview in 2021.
He then went on to criticise the Democrats for having some people who don’t have children (i.e. for being representative of the general population of whom around 47% of women in 2020 and 41% of men in 2014 didn’t have children).
He said:
“It’s just a basic fact that if you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC [Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez], the entire future of the Democrats, is controlled by people without children. And how does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?
Hold up.
If women without kids have no stake in our country then how come so many of them were instrumental in building the prosperous nations we live in today?
