When I was 21, I wanted a boob job.

This was 2006. I was working in an office with women who wouldn’t look out of place on a Real Housewives show, Many of them either had a boob job or were saving up for one.

Big boobs were in vogue and my B-C cups didn’t cut it. I wanted D-cups at least.

I’ll always remember this time of my life as my boob-obsession era. I wanted mine to be perfect and perfect back then meant big.

Eighteen years later, breast augmentations are still the most popular cosmetic procedure in the world after liposuction.

But there is a new trend afoot — a rise in breast reduction surgery. According to plastic surgeons, there is a growing trend for smaller boobs. Women claim the likes of Bella Hadid, Keira Knightley and Miley Cyrus as their inspiration.

Sometimes, breast reduction surgery is important work. In in my deep research on this subject, I’ve found few women who regret the procedure. The general consensus is that de-enhancement will enhance your quality of life.
