Bitcoin Suisse yesterday marked the official office opening of its Liechtenstein subsidiary at the House of Blockchain in Vaduz. The event was attended by over 100 members of the Crypto Valley community and was marked by the ceremonial gifting of a unique, blockchain-secured, gold-plated Liechtenstein token to Thomas Dünser, Director of the Office for Financial Centre Innovation, by Bitcoin Suisse (Liechtenstein) CEO Mauro Casellini.

He also commented, “We are excited to get the ball rolling here and to be part of the expanding, dynamic crypto ecosystem in Liechtenstein.”

House of Blockchain Manager Mattia Martinez added, “We are very glad to welcome the Bitcoin Suisse family to the House of Blockchian.”

With the opening of its 2nd international office — in addition to Danish operations in Copenhagen — Bitcoin Suisse continues its rapid growth and expansion.

The Liechtenstein branch of the company was first announced in December 2018 and took shape in April of this year with the hiring of Mauro Casellini, the former Head of Blockchain at Bank Frick, who led the Vaduz-based bank’s pioneering move into banking services for crypto and blockchain companies. Casellini is joined in the management of the Bitcoin Suisse (Liechtenstein) office by COO Stefano Nico A. Frick, previously the Head of Risk Management at Bank Frick.

A key player in the development of Switzerland’s Crypto Valley and the dynamic growth of the crypto scene in Switzerland since 2013, Bitcoin Suisse has long recognized the integral role of Liechtenstein in the wider blockchain ecosystem spanning both countries.

Besides its new base of operations in the EEA country, Bitcoin Suisse recently partnered with the Liechtenstein-based investment firm Incrementum AG to produce the weekly Decrypt research report.

Bitcoin Suisse continues its pioneering trajectory not only with growing international operations, but also with an expanded service offering and its recent application to FINMA for a Swiss banking and securities dealer license.
