Dear fellow HODLers,

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to take its toll worldwide, leaving no one unaffected, I find myself in a reflective and prepared state of mind. As I write to you from the comfort of social distancing, I would like to share how Bitcoin Solutions is handling such a pandemic while advising our customers how they can still use our services as they move into self isolation, quarantine and social distancing for the coming weeks, and possibly months. It is my personal belief that Bitcoin will become increasingly important as the global economy continues to see volatile markets.

Remote Work Policy

• Bitcoin Solutions has adopted a remote work policy and our Edmonton HQ is closed. Our team has been asked to remain in a socially distant environment as we all combat this virus together.

Retail Office Closure

• As mentioned, with HQ being closed we will not be open to retail traffic, free consultations or community gatherings (including the Edmonton Bitcoin Association’s events) for the time being. We are moving towards offering remote consultations starting in April.

Bitcoin ATM Machines

• We are taking the necessary security and sanitary approach to prepare for our valued hosts to close their doors as a measured response to help prevent the spread of the virus.
• Please continue to check our website listing our Bitcoin ATMs (www.bitcoinsolutions.ca/atm) as well as our Twitter feed @btcsolutionsca as we continually update hours based on information we receive from our hosts across the Nation.

Online Transactions

• Please note that buying Bitcoin and cryptocurrency from www.bitcoinsolutions.ca will continue to be processed without a hitch. It is to our benefit that a digital commodity such as Bitcoin can be transferred from isolation and we intend to continue operating from a socially distant environment
• You will be able to pay your bills, (www.bitcoinsolutions.ca/bills), and receive interac e transfers directly into your bank account (www.bitcoinsolutions.ca/sell). At this time, we are doing so at a reduced rate of 0% as we understand some will be pushed to sell their crypto to deal with economic uncertainty and uncontrollable financial hardship.
