Why You Gain & Lose The Same 5lbs Again & Again
A Bite-Sized Diet Tip!
A coaching client of mine, David just left this testimonial, and something in it sounded very familiar to me, because I hear it from folks in their 40s and 50s who have struggled to lose weight in the past.
That first line really stood out:
I kept on losing the same five or 10 pounds over and over again
This tends to happen especially to men, we take quite a short term ‘project’ approach to losing weight.
We’re more likely to try something super-restrictive and hardcore to try and lose as much weight as possible as soon as possible.
But the experience is so overwhelming and hard that we’re desperate to stop.
The wheels fall off and we go back to all of our old habits and we regain the weight.
It is for this exact reason that I never promise dramatic fat loss results with coaching clients.
What I DO promise is that I will coach you and keep you accountable to build the habits you need to lose the weight that you want. And you’ll keep the weight off because it hasn’t felt like a horrible experience.
