Instructions on the correct use of these new endpoints can be found in our API documentation: https://docs.bitfinex.com/v2/docs/rest-auth
In particular, the Transfer between Wallets endpoint enables our clients to convert Tether (USDt) to USDt0, facilitating derivatives trading.
The addition of these new endpoints above demonstrates Bitfinex’s commitment to provide our clients with the full range of our API functionality through V2.
As we continue to actively develop and maintain V2 while gradually phasing out V1, we invite our clients to switch to V2 to enjoy long-term support and other benefits, such as:
- Support for new API functionalities added in the future
- Unified response format along all endpoints on both REST and WebSocket APIs
- Up to 200% increase in performance on certain REST endpoints and WebSocket channels
- Enhanced support for V2 endpoints in our client libraries, such as Node.js, Python, Ruby and Golang
- We believe that these improvements to V2 will provide the best user experience and continue to enable our clients to create their own trading platforms, along with highly customised and advanced trading strategies.
