See Your Name in Lights on the Leaderboard

We have some exciting news that will provide our clients with an enhanced trading experience.

You will now have a place to shine on public leaderboards that display key trading statistics and show where you stand against the competition. The leaderboards, which go live in the coming weeks, will chart traders’ performance on every currency pair listed on the platform.

Your ranking is already visible via the ticker widget on your trading dashboard. The ranking is calculated according to your trading volume for a specific currency pair, segmented into three-hour time frames (e.g. 0:00 AM UTC to 3:00 AM UTC). To be eligible for ranking on the Bitfinex platform you have to be in the first 1,000 per trading volume.

At Bitfinex we know that competition is part of the lifeblood of trading. You will be able to adopt your own trading moniker that will be displayed in lights on the leaderboard. We invite our clients to enable their accounts for the public leaderboards and to select their nickname today: https://www.bitfinex.com/account

To make your rank visible on the leaderboard, tick the checkbox “enable account for public leaderboard” in your account information page.
