Great news at bitfish, we just have been chosen by Loom as one of the first Plasmachain external validators!

We will be part of the first PlasmaChain external validators with Bixin, MW Partners, and Mythos. More will be joining soon and announced by Loom.

This is a big step in the right direction and we promise to keep the highest standard assuring the health, performance, and security of the network. With us, the success of PlasmaChain is closer.

Besides being a part of the external validators, we are also creating a platform that will let anyone stake their crypto, contribute to network security, and share in the value being created.

In paving the way toward a more decentralized future, the bitfish team is focused across three distinct pillars:

• Experience: Sharing knowledge decentralizes power. We aim to be the go-to place for anyone new to the blockchain world, by providing well-researched educational content that’s accessible to anyone.
• Gifting: Gifting leads to getting. We are building a gifting culture internally and will donate knowledge, code, and time. Along with the builders, we will help integrate distributed ledger technology into the daily livelihood of people who need it.
• Collateralization: Collateral incentivizes action. We are validating stake-based blockchains and creating collateral-based products. We also plan to design and support projects that use collateral to bypass local maxima, increasing utility for all parties.

Our founding members are Chun Wang, co-founder of F2Pool, a mining pool that has mined the most Bitcoin blocks in the world and is the second largest Ethereum pool 😲 — , David Knott, a research scientist for OmiseGO, one of the top Ethereum-based projects implementing a currency agnostic decentralized exchange, and Mia Liu, a startup wonder woman.

In addition to the team’s extensive record and technical chops, we have also been incredibly active in building a community through a continuous series of educational events.
