We’re super happy to officially announce bitfwd community has partnered with Olympus Labs on a unique initiative to push Blockchain technologies development worldwide.
Olympus Labs is a project dedicated to Blockchain development and fostering a community that wants to decentralize the world. Contrary to many of the ICOs that are only focused on hype announcements and viral marketing with no substance, Olympus has been quietly hitting all their roadmap goals and more, and to grow their development community even more.
bitfwd community is a grassroots movement of cypherpunks, Blockchain developers, entrepreneurs, academics and enthusiasts who genuinely take interest in P2P economy and want to create positive impact using decentralized technologies. Olympus Labs was the first to embark on the journey and sponsor bitfwd’s first ever Blockathon in November 2017 in Sydney Australia. We were overwhelmed by the outcome as it was the biggest Blockathon in Australia. Over 100 developers from various countries came to Australia to work on fundamental technologies around Blockchain tech and presented high caliber projects.
The Partnership
Olympus is taking the ambitious role of the lead sponsor and will co-host the global Blockathon tour together with bitfwd, spanning the APAC region, Europe, the United States and more.
Eager and talented developers will have the opportunity to use Olympus’ open-source repositories to build their own unique projects and applications within the Blockchain space. For the best projects that come from the Blockathons, Olympus will be providing early stage funding as well as the opportunity to integrate their projects in the Olympus ecosystem.
