Welcome on board awesome crypto community! We’ve recently been working on partnership with another great community, and today we’re proud to make the announcement that bitfwd and Hello Future formed an official partnership and will be working together. 💜🐨⏩👩🏻💻🌈

We are especially excited about our partnership with bitfwd. The first step is adding an introduction to cryptocurrency to our core curriculum. With this addition, we can potentially leapfrog our refugee students into web 3.0 while giving them the foundations they need in the current digital space. I don’t say this too lightly, but the knowledge, exposure, and participation for our students could be life-changing.

The digital literacy boot camp Hello Future organizes for adolescent refugees creates a path forward into new opportunities for work and life. That is similar to how the printing press changed the world as it made information more accessible and sharable. Literacy became essential. The Internet disrupts the world again by democratizing access to information, yet digital literacy is assumed and not taught, Hello Future is committed to this mission we’re very happy at bitfwd to contribute to Hello Future’s programs web3 curriculum, content and support. This is a very important and impactful initiative toward inclusion of population that is less fortunate and lives in low infrastrucure region. Our duty is to empower those who need the most support and battle poverty together.
Bitfwd is a grassroots community of cypherpunks, Blockchain developers, entrepreneurs, and crypto enthusiasts, who bring together resources, content and educational activities. Bitfwd makes Blockchain accessible to everyone!
Hello Future is an International NGO bridging the education gap for adolescent refugees. They work with adolescent refugees, ages 13–18, the most underserved and the most at risk. Hello Future provides hardware for the students AND connectivity AND on-site workshops to create a real learning environment. They also teach 21st Century digital skills, grounding them in essential digital literacy.
