[Notice] BTC Market Open Pre-announcement

We are finally opening the BTC market that all users have been waiting for.
BTC market is where users can buy/sell other digital assets with his/her own BTC.

- Service Open Date: 2021, January 7 (scheduled)

- Applied platform(s): PC, MOBILE, APP, API

* Service open date may be changed due to circumstances.

* There will be no changes to API guide document.

* On Bithumb Trader’s APP, only BTC market trading history is provided, trading service will be provided on a separate date.

1. Outstanding Functions of Bithumb’s BTC market

[1.1] Lowest minimum order size among the local exchanges

- For Limit Order and Stop-Limit Order, 0.0002 BTC is the minimum order size.

- For Market Order, 0.0005BTC is the minimum order size.

[1.2] 0.04% fee rate provided when using fee discount coupon

- Commission coupon can be used on both KRW market and BTC market.

- When you buy the commission coupon, 0.04% will be applied as the actual commission.

- If the coupon is not used, commission will be charged as 0.25% (same as the rate in KRW market)

* Actual commission will be applied when the special commission coupon is bought.

[1.3] Trading strategy applicable by using Stop-Limit Order function

- Limit Order, Market Order and Stop-Limit Order are all applied on BTC market as same as KRW market.

- Stop-Limit Order? It creates the order with the set price and amount when the condition price is reached. It help to make strategies in the BTC market when the market is very volatile. [Go to Stop-Limit Order FAQ]

2. BTC Market Listing and Event’s pre-announcement

[2.1] New digital asset listing on the BTC market

- On the service open date, new digital assets will be listed on the BTC market.

- BTC market will have more frequent listing with more various digitals assets.

- More information about upcoming digital assets and their listing schedules will be announcement separately.

[2.2] Airdrop and more events to celebrate Service Open

- To celebrate the opening of BTC market, various events and airdrops are scheduled.
