The moment has arrived! We are thrilled to share with our community our vision as it comes to life!
Our development team has worked tirelessly to bring this concept to fruition.
Our quality assurance team has combed through our platform comprehensively and we are excited to give users a preview of our progress thus far.

At bitJob, our main focus is to act as an interface between students and professional employers. This platform will give students the opportunity to gain work experience related to their chosen career path, with a simple and straightforward user experience.
We have placed great priority on understanding the needs of both students and employees to make our platform effortless for our clients.
We have combined taglines, intuitive navigation, concise content and strategic use of visuals to make our website simple and user-friendly.

The bitJob platform is a custom-designed interface, which will pair students with relevant work experience while also giving professional employers access to excellent students.
The result is a clean, elegant UI, with simple and intuitive navigation which enables users to access all of the platform’s powerful features without the need for any previous experience of blockchain applications.
From the beginning, considerable effort has been put forth in the design of the home-page to provide the ultimate user-friendly experience. Registration is fast and smooth, with forms that are easy for users to navigate. Individual accounts can be assigned unique identifiers and avatars for ease of recognition.
In addition, both students and employers will easily be able to search by categories as well as review their recent projects.

Now, it is time to take a tour of the platform which will demonstrate how it will work.

Tour

Home Page-
Beginning at the home page, users will either be able to register as an employer or a student. For students, the homepage allows the user to search directly for a specific job based on various criteria available in the advanced search options. These search capabilities will enable the student to find exactly what the bitJob platform has in to offer, including relevant positions and employers based on the user’s experience level and degree program. For employers, using the advanced search options will enable them to locate specific types of students based on various criteria such as student ranking, capabilities, various keywords, or designated details from their resume (i.e. second-year law students from Texas area).
The home page also includes top categories to facilitate navigation such as top-rated students, top trading jobs, blog posts and upcoming events.

Dynamic Student Profile & Resume-
Students create their user profiles upon registration with the platform.
For quicker access, students can register using Facebook or LinkedIn.
This will automatically import relevant available details such as experience, education, and skills to their user profile.
bitJob offers a revolutionary, one of a kind platform that is based on and powered by blockchain technology. It allows students to track their ranking by their employer and to get information on the jobs that have accomplished in real time. This is made possible by our proprietary algorithm which analyzes students’ activity and presents that data to them live. In contrast to some of the systems currently available, the bitJob user profile does not require maintenance or any hand editing by the user.
Our system utilizes blockchain technology to present user activity accurately and transparently.
Moreover, the profile includes some really awesome personal details such as “life philosophy” and “Best accomplishment”, which helps showcase the user’s strengths and skills to employers in the most professional and personable way possible.
Finally, but perhaps most importantly, in the full version, student users will receive their own domain which will convey access to their full dynamic profile. This will give the student the option to provide a direct link to their resume to potential employers.

Active Job-
The user is presented with an avatar photo with a drop-down list.
Here the student can track his favorite jobs, recent projects, new jobs that are available, and open invoices from employers.
Also, students can communicate directly with his employers through an internal mailing system which works the same as most email accounts.
This portion of the platform, as well as the registration process, reputation and ranking module, affiliate and partners module, payment methods and dynamic profile, are powered by blockchain technology.
The code and more information about it will be published on our Github account.

Hypothetical Example Illustrating the Flow of the Platform:
Mike uses the bitJob website to register as a student on the platform.
Mike has opted to log in using Facebook, or LinkedIn, and the system imports his existing data). After this import, Mike can then edit this information and complete his personal profile for potential employers to view.
Next, he can look for jobs and employers according to his studies or his career path. Mike can suggest himself for relevant jobs, which suit the size of the project he wants, amount of hours he has, his deadline, salary, and the category of the job. For his work, Mike will get paid in his preferred currency (Visa/STU/PayPal). Later the employee who hired him will rank the student for the project and this ranking will be presented in his dynamic resume.
Mike also will rank his employer for his treatment, paying on time and other categories. For the employer, this process would also begin with registration.
After which, an employer can publish their business profile, directly publish an online job, or find specific students from our talent pool.
The employer will then receive a list of viable candidates for which they will be able to choose the most suitable student.
Following the student’s completion of the job, the employee will pay and rank them.

While this tour highlights quite a bit of platform functionality, you may notice that some screens were not yet included.
These include the input box, payment methods, interns program, extend rating module (reputation), student’s projects r etc.
This post is just a tip of the iceberg to show our development progress.
The beta is now being examined by our quality assurance team.
In short order, we will also offer bounty rewards to developers from our community who assist with the testing. The beta platform is scheduled to go live in about a month, and we will follow up in the near future with an exact date.
Currently, we have over 10,000 students registered with the platform and quite a few employers who are ready to take part in this revolutionary platform. The beta will be focused on Israel, The Netherlands, England and the US and will take place during the third and fourth quarter of 2018.
In addition, we are looking to expand our activity to Canada, Eastern Europe, and Asia towards the end of 2018.
We really appreciate your support and your patience.
We’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions!
