As announced before in our Bounty Thread, bitJob had allocated over 2M STU tokens in bounty and bug hunt activities, and are happy to announce our 2nd Bug Hunt programme, which will take place alongside our social bounty program until January 27th, 2019.

Pre-Launch Bounty details

bitJob, founded in early 2016, aims to empower all busy, hard-working students to pursue their dreams.

The core vision has led the team to run a successful Crowdfunding Campaign (ICO), enabling the firm to develop a Social Mining™ platform and expand the global movement backed by academic institutions and supports from around the world.

bitJob aims to become the leading token based Social Mining™ platform out there and as such, we require our user interface to meet user requirement and ensure the interface is easily accessible, understandable, and can perform all actions with ease. This will be depicted in the UI/UX bug hunt detailed below. Furthermore, bitJob takes the protection of our customer's data very seriously. Due to the sensitive nature of the platform, we want to ensure our users' safety of their actions and tokens. To achieve this, we would like the community to take part in finding any potential security risks or loopholes in our system. In our past activities, we have received a lot of fantastic comments, bugs, and notes and have worked hard with our engineering team that is always enthusiastic to learn from these findings.

The bug hunt and UI query will run from January 21st until January 27th, 2019 and, as mentioned, will be broken down into two different activities:

UI/UX Bug Bounty — This portion of the bug bounty is focused on user experience and visual ease/appeal. A series of questions and tests will be shown to the user/employee regarding everything from the registration process, required details to various steps needed on the platform. The participant will be asked to reply based on his actions and tests on the UI and provide feedback regarding the user experience itself and difficulties if any.

The other portion of this activity is the bug hunt itself. Our main areas of concern are to find security flaws within the platform resulting in loss or theft of currency, explore bugs restricting users from performing any actions, identifying bugs associated with server crashes and high load times and various platform bugs resulting in poor user experience.

It is important to mention that Bugs will be considered valid if they have not already been submitted by another user or are not known to the bitJob team. Illegal or fraudulent submissions as a result of a breach of fair use will not be acceptable, DDOSing etc.

We strive at a generating a perfect platform. Participants can feel free to test the platform and provide us with information on ways to disable or disrupt the security system and its database.

The campaign reward matrix will be determined by a mixture of risk factors ranging from low (which can yield around 20$ USD) to high-risk allocations (up to 75$ USD) and up to 100$ USD on finding security flaws within the platform with potential loss or theft of currency.
