1.สรุปผลประชุม Fed คาดอาจเพิ่มอัตราดอกเบี้ยมากกว่าที่คิด
หลังจากการประชุมของธนาคารกลางสหรัฐอเมริกา หรือ Federal Reserve (เฟด) เมื่อวันที่ 26 มกราคม ที่ผ่านมา ทาง Bilal Hafeez CEO และหัวหน้าฝ่ายวิจัยจาก Macro Hive ได้ออกมาวิเคราะห์ว่าการประชุมมีแนวโน้มไปทาง “คุมเข้มนโยบาย” มากกว่าที่คิด
โดยอ้างอิงจากการที่เฟดได้ประกาศเพิ่มคาดการณ์อัตราเงินเฟ้อ สะท้อนว่าเฟดเล็งเห็นถึงความจำเป็นของการขึ้นอัตราดอกเบี้ย รวมถึงคำพูดของ Jerome Powell ประธานเฟด กล่าวว่า “วัฎจักรนี้แตกต่างจากวัฎจักรก่อน ๆ ” จึงยิ่งเป็นสัญญาณว่าการปรับขึ้นอัตราดอกเบี้ยเพื่อควบคุมอัตราเงินเฟ้ออาจเกิดขึ้นเร็วและถี่กว่าครั้งก่อน
The Fed continues to add downside risks
A deeper analysis on the impact of Jan. 26’s Federal Reserve meeting was provided by Bilal Hafeez, CEO and head of research at Macro Hive, who noted that the tone of the meeting “turned out to be more hawkish than expected.”
Hafeez pointed to the decision by the Fed to raise the inflation forecast as a sign that the central bank has realized that “they need to be more hawkish than before,” and he highlighted Powell’s comments that “this cycle would be different to the last cycle, which suggests faster hikes than before.”

White House reportedly preparing executive order on crypto
Joe Biden’s White House is expected to issue an executive order in the coming weeks about actions the U.S. government will take regarding digital assets.
A source “familiar with the White House’s plan” told Barron’s that the executive order would be issued in a national security memorandum. Biden’s memorandum would assign some government entities to study crypto, stablecoins, and non-fungible tokens (NFT) with the goal of developing a workable regulatory framework.
Rumors of a potential executive order on crypto have been swirling in recent days. Earlier this week Forbes reported those government entities would likely issue reports on their findings by mid-2022 looking at “the systemic risks of cryptocurrencies and their illicit uses.”

3.Reddit กำลังทดสอบระบบโปรไฟล์ NFT

Reddit is testing out NFT profile pics, but ‘no decisions have been made’
Reddit is testing out nonfungible token (NFT) profile pictures on its platform, with the news coming just a week or so after Twitter implemented a similar feature.
The popular social media platform had around 430 million monthly users in 2021 and is reportedly working on an NFT profile picture implementation that will enable users to set their profile picture to any NFT with an attached image.
In an Interview with TechCrunch on Thursday, Reddit spokesperson Tim Rathschmidt stated:
“We’re always exploring ways to provide value for users and communities on Reddit. At the moment we’re testing the ability to use NFTs as profile pictures (avatars) and verify ownership.”
“It’s a small, internal test and no decisions have been made about expanding or rolling out the capability,” he added.

Vitalik Buterin ผู้ร่วมก่อตั้ง Ethereum ได้เผยแพร่บทความลงผ่าน Blog เมื่อวันพุธที่ผ่านมา โดยมีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับการเพิ่มระบบที่มีความใกล้เคียงกับระบบ “Soulbound” ในเกม World of Warcraft เข้ากับ NFT เพื่อให้สามารถแสดงได้ว่าผู้ที่ถือ NFT ได้ NFT ชิ้นนั้นมาจากการทำกิจกรรม X (เช่น การประมูล) จริง เนื่องจากปัจจุบันยังไม่สามารถพิสูจน์ได้อย่างชัดเจนว่าผู้ครอบครอง NFT ได้ NFT ชิ้นนั้นมาจากการร่วมกิจกรรมจริง ๆ หรือซื้อต่อจากคนอื่น

Vitalik Buterin suggests making NFTs ‘soulbound’ like World of Warcraft items
In a blog post published Wednesday, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum (ETH), expressed his wishes to make nonfungible tokens, or NFTs, soulbound as with the namesake item class in popular MMORPG World of Warcraft, or WoW. In outlining his reasons, Buterin explained that if someone shows they own an NFT that is obtainable by doing X, such as attending an auction, it is not possible to tell if the person attended the auction to obtained it or simply bought the NFT via the secondary market.
The soulbound feature in WoW prevents an item from being traded, mailed or sold at the in-game Auction House to other players. It was designed by developers to prevent “twinking” or passing down gear from high-level to low-level characters to dramatically speed up the grinding process of fighting monsters to gain experience.
However, they also serve the purpose of demonstrating achievement; that is, the character earned the item by defeating challenging bosses and not via an heirloom. The latter property seems to be of interest to Buterin, as the Ethereum co-founder raised the point that on-chain proposals to store driver’s licenses, university degrees, etc., would face problems if someone who doesn’t meet the necessary conditions can readily purchase them.

Flushing it: $8B New York commercial bank to offer Bitcoin services
Flushing Financial Corporation, the parent company behind New York-based Flushing Bank has partnered with crypto firm New York Digital Investment Group (NYDIG) to offer Bitcoin (BTC) services to its customers.
According to an announcement, the partnership with NYDIG will enable the bank to offer its customers BTC buying, selling and holding services in a “safe and secure environment.”
NYDIG Chief Innovation Officer Patrick Sells stated on Jan. 25 that the firm is paying significant attention to partnering with traditional financial institutions as it’s “ready to show the world that banking is better with Bitcoin.”

Apple stock jumps after CEO reveals it’s investing in the Metaverse
Apple’s stock price jumped in after hours trading after CEO Tim Cook said during the company’s Q1 2022 earnings call that he sees considerable potential in the Metaverse space.
When asked on Jan. 27 during the call about Apple’s opportunities within the Metaverse, Cook responded “we see a lot of potential in this space and are investing accordingly.”

7.OpenSea ยกเลิกนโยบายจำกัดจำนวนการสร้าง NFT หลังกลุ่มผู้ใช้แสดงความไม่พอใจ
OpenSea ตลาด NFT ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในปัจจุบัน ได้ออกมาประกาศยกเลิกนโยบายจำกัดจำนวนการมินต์ (สร้าง) NFT ต่อคอลเลกชัน โดยเมื่อไม่นานมานี้ OpenSea ได้กำหนดให้เจ้าของคอลเลกชันสามารถสร้าง NFT ได้เพียง 5 ชิ้นต่อ 1 คอลเลกชัน จากเดิมที่ไม่มีการจำกัดจำนวน
นโยบายดังกล่าวส่งผลให้กลุ่มผู้ใช้และเหล่าศิลปินเกิดความไม่พอใจและพร้อมใจกันออกมาโต้แย้งนโยบาย โดยบางคนระบุว่านโยบายนี้จะทำให้บางโปรเจกต์ที่กำลังสร้างอยู่ได้รับกระทบผลจนไม่สามารถสร้างต่อได้จนเสร็จหรือต้องเปลี่ยนแผนไปโดยสิ้นเชิง จนทำให้ OpenSea ยอมถอยและยกเลิกนโยบายดังกล่าวไปในที่สุด
OpenSea reverses limits on minting after community backlash
NFT marketplace OpenSea has backflipped on a controversial decision to limit the number of NFTs and collections creators can mint using its smart contract.
The platform previously allowed unlimited collections and items, but changed its policy to only allow five NFT collections with 50 items per collection when using OpenSea’s collection storefront contract.
NFT creators hit back, some arguing that their unfinished collections would now never be completed due to the change, with others noting that they were part-way through creating collections numbering in the hundreds to thousands.
