1.Twitter เปิดตัวรูปโปรไฟล์ NFT บน Twitter Blue
เมื่อคืนวันพฤหัสบดีที่ผ่านมา Twiiter ได้ประกาศเปิดตัวระบบรูปโปรไฟล์ NFT เฉพาะบน Twitter Blue ที่เป็นบริการแบบจ่ายรายเดือน (Paid Subscription) เดือนละ 2.99 ดอลลาร์ และสามารถเชื่อมต่อกับกระเป๋าดิจิทัลได้มากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Argent, หรือ Ledger Live โดยระบบจะดึง NFT ที่ผู้ใช้มีกระเป๋ามาเป็นรูปโปรไฟล์ได้

Twitter Blue rolls out NFT profile pics for iOS
On Thursday afternoon, Twitter announced that it would be rolling out iOS support for nonfungible token, or NFT, hexagonal avatars. As of now, only paid subscribers of Twitter Blue using iOS, which costs $2.99 per month, can access the feature. According to a tutorial video, users can connect their wallet, including Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Argent, or Ledger Live, and set it as their profile pic, with the process taking a few seconds.
Users can also learn more about each other’s NFT avatars, such as their owners, creators, description of the series, as well as verification of authenticity on third-party platforms like OpenSea. According to Twitter, the platform does not maintain an ongoing connection with one’s crypto wallet. However, the firm stores one’s public wallet address to ensure that it continues to hold the NFT avatar. Although one can only set it on iOS through Twitter Blue, the NFT profile pic will be visible across all platforms.

Meta reportedly plans to integrate NFTs on Facebook and Instagram profiles
Multinational tech conglomerate Meta is reportedly diving into nonfungible tokens (NFTs) by integrating a feature that will let users show off their NFTs on their Facebook and Instagram profiles. According to the report, Meta is currently working on prototypes that will allow users to mint collectible tokens.
Meta is also discussing potentially launching a marketplace that allows the buying and selling of NFTs. However, while the news may excite millions of NFT enthusiasts that use social media, all of the projects are within the earliest stages and may still change accordingly.

Crypto job posts on LinkedIn rocketed 395% in 2021
It wasn’t just a bull run for prices last year. Careers in crypto outstripped price action in 2021, as crypto job searches soared by 395% in the United States alone, according to LinkedIn.
Furthermore, no industry was safe from “crypto-ization” in 2021. The LinkedIn News post offered valuable insight into crypto influencing other industries:
While most of the job postings were in software and finance, other industries are also seeing a rise in demand for crypto talent. These include professional services like accounting and consulting, as well as the staffing and computer hardware sectors.

4.Microsoft ซื้อกิจการ Activision Blizzard เดินหน้าธุรกิจ Metaverse

Microsoft’s massive metaverse move: Buying Activision for $69B
Microsoft is acquiring gaming giant Activision Blizzard for $69 billion as part of a move to ramp up its gaming and metaverse plans.
Activision Blizzard is home to a long list of iconic gaming franchises such as Call of Duty, Overwatch, Candy Crush, World of Warcraft and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Following the deal, its games are set to be added to Microsoft Xbox’s Game Pass service, which has 25 million subscribers.
According to a Tuesday announcement from Microsoft, the firm will acquire Activision Blizzard for $95.00 per share at a valuation of $68.7 billion. The deal is set to close in the 2023 fiscal year will see Microsoft become the third-largest gaming company in terms of revenue behind Riot Games owner Tencent and PlayStation developer Sony.

Google has hired a former PayPal executive to help bolster Google Pay, with plans to expand into the crypto space.
Google’s President of Commerce Bill Ready told Bloomberg that:
“Crypto is something we pay a lot of attention to […] As user demand and merchant demand evolves, we’ll evolve with it.”

6.SEC สหรัฐฯ ปฎิเสธ Spot Bitcoin ETF ของ Skybridge
คณะกรรมการกำกับหลักทรัพย์และตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งสหรัฐอเมริกา หรือ SEC ได้ปฏิเสธคำขออนุมัติการซื้อขายกองทุน ETF ที่อ้างอิงกับราคา Bitcoin ปัจจุบัน (ราคา Spot) ที่ยื่นโดย SkyBridge

SEC rejects Skybridge’s application for spot Bitcoin ETF
The United States Securities and Exchange Commission, or SEC, has officially disapproved the application for First Trust SkyBridge’s spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund after several deferments.
In a Thursday filing, the SEC rejected a proposed rule change from the New York Stock Exchange, or NYSE, Arca to list and trade shares of the First Trust SkyBridge Bitcoin ETF Trust. The SEC said any rule change in favor of approving the ETF would not be “‘designed to prevent fraudulent and manipulative acts and practices” nor “protect investors and the public interest.”

7.ธนาคารกลางรัสเซียเสนอให้แบนการขุดและเทรดคริปโทฯ

Russian central bank proposes blanket ban on crypto mining and trading
In a report published on Thursday, the Central Bank of Russia has called for a blanket ban on domestic cryptocurrency trading and mining.
The report titled “Cryptocurrencies: Trends, risks, measures” compares cryptocurrencies to a Ponzi scheme and calls for a complete ban on their use throughout Russia. The authors claim that cryptocurrencies are highly volatile in nature and are being used as a tool for illegal activities. The report also warned that crypto could pose a risk to financial sovereignty and could aid people in taking money out of the national economy.
The report is framed as an invitation for public discussion, with the deadline for comments and suggestions from interested parties set at March 1, 2022.
