Meet Bitkub.com’s CMO —Sugrit
Mr. Sugrit Phutaviriya (Saab), shares his interests in blockchain and how it has shaped his professional life. Expressing his interest in the technology, in his words, “Bitcoin and cryptocurrency came to my notice last year. The first thing that peaked my interest was the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Then, I questioned myself about how does the digital money had so much value, after that I researched more about the technology.”
Saab studied Business Economics at Mahidol International College. Initially, he’d wanted to be a Business Analyst with the ambition of leaving a mark in the financial world. Driven by the increasing number of businesses established in recent times, Saab had thought that there will be more value and challenge to help small businesses grow to the point where they can compete with the “lions of the industry”.
In order to integrate his academic and professional ambitions, he started his career journey at Lazada (A Southeast Asia E-Commerce Company) as a Commercial Analyst. Speaking of the challenges in the role, Saab explains that:
“It was quite entertaining at first by analyzing real data, but as time goes by I was looking to exert the data from my analysis by putting it into practice. At that point, I adjusted my career into the digital marketing field where I could have control over the media’s budget and the decision making.”
He advanced his career by becoming a division manager as a Marketing Analyst at Central Group Online, which is Thailand’s omni-channel retail leader. There, he led a group of ambitious marketing experts.
After enjoying a good time at Lazada and Central Group Online, Saab Co-founded Bitkub.com, one of Thailand’s leading online cryptocurrency exchange platforms. He is currently the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Bitkub.com, leading both the marketing and business development team. His continued impacts in the marketing industry are the precedence to leading all marketing projects at Bitkub.com.
Regarding his vision and why he Co-founded Bitkub.com, according to Saab:
“Since we are a startup company, everything that I accomplished throughout my career were the sum ups of little things that we contributed to launch the company. Together, the amazing team at Bitkub.com exerted collective effort to assist each other on different levels.”

คุณสุกฤษฏิ์ พุทธวิริยะ (ซ๊าบ) มีความสนใจด้าน blockchain และมันได้เปลี่ยนชีวิตการทำงานของเขาไปเลย คำพูดของเขาคือ “ผมเริ่มสนใจ Bitcoin และ cryptocurrency ตั้งแต่ปีที่แล้ว และสิ่งแรกที่ทำให้ผมตกใจที่สุดคือราคาของ Bitcoin และ Ethereum หลังจากนั้นผมก็เริ่มหาข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับด้วยด้วยความสงสัยว่าทำไมเงินดิจิตอลถึงมีมูลค่าได้มากขนาดนั้น”
คุณซ๊าบเรียนจบทางด้าน เศรษฐศาสตร์ธุรกิจจากมหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติมหิดล (MUIC) ในตอนแรกเขาอยากเป็นนักวิเคราะห์ธุรกิจซึ่งอยากที่จะสร้างความแตกต่างในอุตสาหกรรมการเงิน ด้วยจำนวนของธุรกิจที่เพิ่มขึ้นเลื่อยๆ ซ๊าบมีความเชื่อว่ามันจะเป็นอะไรที่มีคุณค่าและท้าทายมากที่จะช่วยให้ธุรกิจเล็กๆสามารถแข่งขันกับยักษ์ใหญ่ในอุตสาหกรรม
ในการที่จะควบรวมความรู้จากการเรียนและความมุ่งมั่นในอาชีพ เขาได้เริ่มทำงานที่ Lazada (บริษัท e-commerce ยักษใหญ่ในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้) ในตำแหน่ง นักวิเคราะห์การพาณิชย์ (commercial analyst) เมื่อพูดถึงความท้าทาย คุณซ๊าบอธิบายว่า:
“ในช่วงแรก การได้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจริงๆมันค่อนข้างสนุก แต่พอทำไปเรื่อยๆ ผมอยากที่จะเอาสิ่งที่วิเคราะห์ไปใช้ประโยชน์ต่อยอด ผมจึงเปลี่ยนมาทำแนวการตลาดดิจิตอลซึ่งผมจะได้ควบคุมงบของ media ต่างๆและได้ตัดสินใจด้วยตัวเอง”
เขามีความก้าวหน้าทางการงานโดยการได้เป็น ผู้จัดการฝ่ายในถานะ นักวิเคราะห์การตลาด ที่ Central Group Online ซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนขายปลีกแนวหน้าของไทย และที่นี่เขาได้นำทีมของผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการตลาด
หลังจากความสำเร็จกับ Lazada และ Central Group Online คุณซ๊าบได้ร่วมก่อตั้ง Bitkub.com ซึ่งเป็น platform แลกเปลี่ยนสกุลเงินดิจิตอลชั้นนำของไทย ณ ปัจจุบันเขาทำงานในตำแหน่ง Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) ซึ่งจัดการทั้งฝ่ายการตลาดและการพัฒนาธุรกิจ ความสามารถด้านการตลาดของเขาก็ได้แสดงให้เห็นในโปรเจ็คต่างๆที่ Bitkub.com อย่างต่อเนื่อง
จากวิสัยทัศน์ของเขาและเหตุผลที่ร่วมก่อตั้ง Bitkub.com เขาเล่าว่า
“เนื่องจากเราเป็น startup ทุกความสามารถและความสำเร็จในอาชีพของเขาเป็นการรวมกันของสิ่งเล็กๆที่ใช้ในการก่อตั้งบริษัท และทุกคนที่ Bitkub.com ก็ได้ลงทุนลงแรงกันอย่างเต็มที่เพื่อจะช่วยกันและกันและผลักดันบริษัท นอกจากนี้ผมยังอยากให้ความรู้ด้าน blockchain และ cryptocurrency กับทุกๆคนเพื่อที่จะปฏิวัติมุมมองของผู้คนที่มีต่อเทคโนโลยีนี้”
