นี่เป็นเรื่องจริงของนักเทรดคริปโทหลายคน ที่พวกเขาไม่ทราบว่า Blockchain (บล็อกเชน) คืออะไร ทั้งๆ ที่ได้ใส่เงินจำนวนมากเข้าสู่ตลาด Cryptocurrency เพื่อทำการซื้อ-ขายเหรียญดิจิทัล เช่น Bitcoin, Ethereum และเหรียญ Altcoins อื่นๆ ว่าแต่เจ้าสิ่งนี้มันคืออะไรกันแน่?

Blockchain (บล็อกเชน) คืออะไร ทำไมพูดถึงมากกันในวงการคริปโท?
Blockchain คือ เทคโนโลยีที่ทำให้ Bitcoin กลายเป็นสกุลเงินดิจิทัลที่มีมูลค่าตลาดสูงสุด ซึ่งเป็นไปตามความต้องการของ Satoshi Nakamoto ผู้คิดค้นบิทคอยน์และบล็อกเชนเมื่อปี 2009 เพื่อเข้ามาแก้ไขปัญหาของระบบการเงินแบบเดิมๆ ที่ต้องมีบุคคลที่สามเป็นคนกลางเพื่อตรวจสอบความน่าเชื่อถือเวลาทำธุรกรรม
เหตุผลสำคัญที่ Blockchain เริ่มมีบทบาทมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ในปัจจุบัน ก็เพราะว่าบล็อกเชนคือเทคโนโลยีแบบกระจายอำนาจที่ไม่ขึ้นกับตัวกลาง (decentralized technology) แต่ทุกสิ่งทุกอย่างจะถูกจัดการด้วยตัวเครือข่ายเอง และไม่มีอำนาจจากตัวกลางใดเข้ามาแทรกแซงได้
บล็อกเชนก็เปรียบเหมือนกับสื่อกลางที่เอาไว้ใช้ดำเนินธุรกรรมทุกอย่างในโลก Cryptocurrency โดยเริ่มต้นจากการสร้างชุดเก็บข้อมูลที่เรียกว่า (Block) แล้วส่งไปเรียงต่อกันเรื่อยๆ ในลักษณะคล้ายโซ่คล้องกัน เรียกว่า (Chain) ต่อมาข้อมูลจะได้รับการเข้ารหัสพร้อมระบุว่าถูกจัดเก็บเมื่อใด หรือมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอะไรไหม จากนั้นข้อมูลทั้งหมดจะถูกส่งไปยังคอมพิวเตอร์ที่อยู่ในเครือข่ายบล็อกเชนทุกเครื่อง
สาเหตุที่มีการเทรดคริปโทผ่านบล็อกเชนเป็นจำนวนมากในปัจจุบัน เนื่องจาก
1.โปร่งใส ไม่เสี่ยงล่ม ข้อมูลที่ถูกส่งไปให้ผู้ใช้ทุกคนใน Blockchain จะไม่สามารถแก้ไขได้ด้วยใครคนใดคนหนึ่ง อีกทั้งตัวระบบมีความทนทานสูง และไม่เคยเกิดเหตุการณ์ที่ระบบทำงานผิดพลาดแม้แต่ครั้งเดียว
2.รวดเร็ว ค่าใช้จ่ายต่ำ Blockchain เป็นช่องทางส่งเหรียญดิจิทัลผ่านระบบอินเทอร์เน็ตที่ใช้เวลาประมวลผลน้อยมาก และมีค่าใช้จ่ายต่ำเมื่อเทียบกับการโอนเงินจริง (Fiat) ผ่านธนาคาร
จะเห็นได้ว่าผู้ใช้ทุกคนในเครือข่าย Blockchain ทำหน้าที่เป็นทั้งผู้ใช้และผู้ตรวจสอบในเวลาเดียวกัน ส่งผลให้ทุกคนได้รับประโยชน์จากการใช้บล็อกเชนอย่างเต็มที่
Blockchain ในบทบาทอื่นนอกจากวงการคริปโท
ไม่ใช่แค่วงการคริปโทที่ได้ประโยชน์จากการใช้ Blockchain แต่ยังมีอุตสาหกรรมอื่นๆ ที่เดินหน้าปรับตัวเข้าสู่ยุคดิจิทัลเต็มรูปแบบ และได้นำเทคโนโลยีบล็อกเชนไปปรับใช้กับธุรกิจ ซึ่งจะมีสิ่งที่เรียกว่า Smart Contact เข้ามาทำหน้าที่สำคัญควบคู่กัน
Smart Contact คือ โปรแกรมที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นบน Blockchain เพื่อทำหน้าที่กำหนดขั้นตอนการทำธุรกรรมอัตโนมัติไว้ล่วงหน้า แบบไม่ต้องอาศัยตัวกลาง เช่น ธนาคาร ซึ่งคู่สัญญาทั้งสองฝ่ายจะมีการตกลงกันก่อนหน้านี้ ถึงขั้นตอนและกลไกในการทำธุรกรรมดังกล่าว โดยต่อจากนี้คือตัวอย่างที่บล็อกเชนเริ่มเข้าไปมีบทบาทสำคัญ
Smart Contract อนาคตของโลกการเงิน
Smart Contract จะพลิกโฉมการขอสินเชื่อต่างๆ หรือแม้แต่การทำสัญญาซื้อขายทรัพย์สิน อย่างเช่น บ้าน รถยนต์ และที่ดิน ให้มีความสะดวกรวดเร็วจากการทำสัญญาแบบอัตโนมัติ รวมถึงสามารถตรวจสอบความโปร่งใสของธุรกรรมได้
การเลือกตั้งที่โปร่งใสและตรวจสอบได้ (จริง)
ข้อกังขาของประชาชนที่มีต่อการลงคะแนนเลือกตั้งนับจากอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบันจะหมดไป นั่นก็ว่าเพราะเทคโนโลยีบล็อกเชนจะเข้ามาช่วยให้เรื่องนี้มีความปลอดภัยและเที่ยงตรงแบบที่ไม่เคยเป็นมาก่อน โดยทุกคะแนนของทุกคนที่โหวตมานั้นสามารถตรวจสอบได้อย่างโปร่งใส อีกทั้งยังไม่สามารถแก้ไขอะไรได้อีกหลากหลังจากการลงคะแนนเสร็จสมบูรณ์แล้ว
เก็บเอกสารแบบปลอดภัยและเข้าถึงได้เร็วขึ้น
จากนี้ไป เราจะเก็บเอกสารสำคัญได้อย่างปลอดภัยและไม่มีใครขโมยข้อมูลหรือดัดแปลงแก้ไขได้ ด้วยการกระจายข้อมูลไปเก็บไว้ทั่วทั้งเครือข่าย (Distributing data) โดยไม่ต้องอาศัยเชิร์ฟเวอร์กลางมาเกี่ยวข้อง และช่วยให้การถ่ายโอนไฟล์ทำได้รวดเร็วอีกต่างหาก
