Layer 2 คืออะไร?
ปัจจุบัน เครือข่ายบล็อกเชนขนาดใหญ่อย่าง Bitcoin หรือ Ethereum กำลังประสบปัญหาเครือข่ายขยายตัวตามจำนวนธุรกรรมไม่ทัน เนื่องจากขีดจำกัดทางเทคนิคของเครือข่าย ส่งผลให้ธุรกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นบนเครือข่ายล่าช้าและมีค่าธรรมเนียมสูง ทำให้เกิดแนวคิดสร้าง Layer-2 ขึ้นเพื่อลดภาระของเครือข่าย
Layer-2 คือเครือข่ายบล็อกเชนย่อยที่ถูกสร้างมาเพื่อจัดการธุรกรรมขนาดเล็กแทนเครือข่ายหลัก (Mainchain) เพื่อลดภาระและความหนาแน่นของเครือข่ายหลัก ซึ่งการทำธุรกรรมผ่าน Layer-2 มักจะมีความเร็วที่สูงและค่าธรรมเนียมที่ถูกกว่า เมื่อถึงเวลาที่กำหนด Layer-2 ก็จะสรุปข้อมูลธุรกรรมทั้งหมดที่เกิดขึ้นและส่งข้อมูลเข้าไปเก็บไว้ในเครือข่ายหลักอีกที

2.ล็อกเหรียญเพื่อรับรางวัล — ผู้ถือโทเคน IMX สามารถล็อกโทเคนไว้ในเครือข่าย (Staking) เพื่อช่วยตรวจสอบธุรกรรมและรักษาความปลอดภัยให้กับเครือข่าย ซึ่งค่าธรรมเนียมจากการซื้อขาย NFT ข้างต้นจะถูกนำมารวมไว้ใน Staking rewards pool เพื่อแจกจ่ายเป็นรางวัลให้กับผู้ล็อกโทเคนไว้เป็นรายเดือน
3.มอบสิทธิ์ร่วมออกเสียงพัฒนาเครือข่าย — โทเคน IMX ยังช่วยให้ผู้ถือสามารถร่วมโหวตหรือออกข้อเสนอเพื่อการพัฒนาเครือข่ายได้อีกด้วย
ใครคือผู้สร้าง IMX?
James Ferguson ผู้ร่วมก่อตั้ง Immutable X ปัจจุบันดำรงตำแหน่ง CEO จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีสาขาการเงิน และด้านกฏหมายจาก University of Sydney เคยเป็นผู้นำทีมนักพัฒนาของบริษัทอีคอมเมิร์ซใน Silicon Valley ที่มีมูลค่าระดับพันล้านเหรียญ
Robbie Ferguson อีกหนึ่งผู้ร่วมก่อตั้ง Immutable X ปัจจุบันดำรงตำแหน่ง President ซึ่งเขาเป็นผู้สร้างระบบคำนวณภาษีอัตโนมัติที่ KPMG ซึ่งเขาเชื่อมั่นว่า ในอนาคต ผู้คนจะใช้เวลาส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในโลก VR ดังนั้นการสร้างระบบเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลที่แข็งแกร่งจะเข้ามามีบทบาทสำคัญอย่างยิ่ง

What is IMX?
