เชื่อว่าหลายคนน่าจะคุ้นเคยกับเครือข่าย Layer 2 ที่ทำงานร่วมกับยักษ์ใหญ่อย่าง Ethereum กันบ้างแล้ว ซึ่งที่ Bitkub Exchange ก็มีเหรียญที่เป็น Layer 2 มากมายไม่ว่าจะเป็น IMX, MATIC หรือ OP
และอีก Layer 2 ที่น่าจับมากที่สุดอีกตัวหนึ่ง ก็คือ LRC หรือ Loopring ซึ่งถ้าเทียบกันที่มูลค่าที่หมุนเวียนบนเครือข่ายแล้ว Loopring จัดอยู่ในอันดับ Top 5 ของบรรดา Layer 2 เลยทีเดียว (ข้อมูลจาก L2BEAT ณ วันที่ 23 มิถุนายน 2022)
ในบทความนี้ เราจะมาดูกันว่า LRC หรือ Loopring คืออะไร? และเทคโนโลยีที่ใช้อย่าง zkRollup คืออะไร? สามารถตามไปอ่านกันต่อได้เลยครับ
LRC คืออะไร?
LRC หรือ Loopring Protocol Token คือโทเคนมาตรฐาน ERC-20 ที่ทำงานอยู่บน Ethereum โดยมีการใช้งานหลักร่วมกับเครือข่าย Loopring ได้แก่
1.ใช้จ่ายเป็นค่าธรรมเนียมเมื่อทำธุรกรรมผ่านเครือข่าย
2.เป็นรางวัลสำหรับผู้ช่วยเสริมสภาพคล่อง (Liquidity Providers)
3.มอบสิทธิ์ร่วมบริหารเครือข่ายผ่านระบบ DAO
Loopring คืออะไร?
Loopring คือเครือข่ายบล็อกเชน Layer 2 ที่ใช้เทคโนโลยี zkRollup ในการสรุปข้อมูลธุรกรรมและส่งไปบันทึกบน Layer 1 อย่าง Ethereum
โดย Loopring เป็นเครือข่ายที่มุ่งเน้นไปที่การส่งต่อมูลค่าและแลกเปลี่ยนแบบไร้ตัวกลาง (Decentralized Exchange) และออกแบบมาให้มีประสิทธิภาพทั้งในด้านความปลอดภัยกับความเร็วที่สูง พร้อมรักษาค่าธรรมเนียมให้อยู่ในระดับต่ำเสมอ ซึ่ง Loopring อ้างว่าค่าธรรมเนียมบนเครือข่ายของพวกเขาต่ำกว่าถึง 100 เท่าเลยทีเดียว
zkRollup คืออะไร?
zkRollup หรือ Zero-Knowledge Rollups เป็นหนึ่งในเทคโนโลยีที่บรรดาเครือข่าย Layer 2 เลือกใช้ โดยมีหลักการทำงานคือ Loopring จะทำการสรุปข้อมูลธุรกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นบนเครือข่ายและส่งสรุปข้อมูลนั้นไปบันทึกบนเครือข่าย Layer 1 หรือ Ethereum
ถ้าลองยกตัวอย่างเทียบกับสถานการณ์ในชีวิตจริง ที่ดูใกล้ตัวเราที่สุดก็คือการซื้อของในร้านสะดวกซื้อ ถ้าเราซื้อของ 5 ชิ้น แล้วร้านต้องออกใบเสร็จแยก 5 ใบสำหรับของแต่ละชิ้นก็คงจะวุ่นวายและเปลืองทรัพยากรน่าดู ดังนั้นร้านก็เลยใช้วิธีรวมทุกสินค้ามาอยู่ในใบเสร็จเดียวกันและสรุปให้เป็นธุรกรรมเดียวกันไปเลย
ตัวอย่างที่ยกมา แม้จะดูเป็นเรื่องง่าย ๆ ที่ใครเค้าก็ทำกัน แต่ก็เป็นแนวคิดที่ช่วยให้ Ethereum สามารถขยายขนาดได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ดังนั้นการทำธุรกรรมผ่าน Loopring จึงสามารถประมวลผลธุรกรรมได้เร็ว และมีค่าธรรมเนียมที่ต่ำกว่าการทำธุรกรรมบน Layer 1 อย่างมาก
ผู้สร้าง Loopring
Loopring ถูกพัฒนาโดย Loopring Foundation โดยมีผู้ก่อตั้งและ CEO คือ Daniel Wang วิศวกรซอฟต์แวร์และนักธุรกิจชาวจีน
Daniel จบปริญญาตรีสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์คอมพิวเตอร์จากมหาวิทยาลัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศจีน (University of Science and Technology of China) และปริญญาโทในสาขาเดียวกันจาก Arizona State University โดยก่อนมาก่อตั้ง Loopring เขาเคยร่วมงานกับบริษัทเทคชื่อดังมากมาย เช่น เป็นวิศวกรซอฟต์แวร์ที่ Boston Scientific เป็นผู้บริหารฝ่ายวิศวกรที่ JD.com และเป็นวิศวกรซอฟต์แวร์อาวุโสที่ Google แถมยังเคยร่วมก่อตั้งบริษัท Yunrang (Beijing) Information Technology Ltd. กับ Coinport Technology Ltd. ที่ทำธุรกิจเกี่ยวกับคริปโทเคอร์เรนซีอีกด้วย
อย่างไรก็ตาม เมื่อวันที่ 3 กุมภาพันธ์ 2022 ทาง Steve Guo ที่เป็น Chief of Technology ของ Loopring ได้ขึ้นมารับตำแหน่ง CEO แทน Daniel Wang โดยที่ตัว Daniel จะยังคงรับตำแหน่งเป็นที่ปรึกษาเพื่อที่จะสามารถมุ่งไปที่การวางกลยุทธ์ระยะยาวสำหรับ Loopring ต่อไปได้
ทางด้าน Steve Guo เขาสามารถเข้าศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศจีนได้ตั้งแต่ตอนที่เขาอายุเพียง 15 ปี และจบการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาเอกสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์คอมพิวเตอร์ในปี 2005 และเคยร่วมงานกับ Intel ในตำแหน่งวิศวกรซอฟต์แวร์
การกระจายโทเคน LRC
อ้างอิงจาก Coinmarketcap และ Messari โทเคน LRC มีการระดมทุนแบบ ICO ในปี 2017 โดยสามารถระดมทุนได้ 120,014 ETH หรือประมาณ 45 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐฯ และ LRC ถูกสร้างออกมาโดยมีเพดานอุปทานสูงสุดที่ 1,374,513,896 LRC
สำหรับข้อมูลการกระจายโทเคน LRC มีดังนี้
50% ของโทเคนทั้งหมดถูกแบ่งให้กับนักลงทุนโดยไม่กำหนดระยะเวลาล็อกโทเคน
30% ถูกแบ่งให้กับ Loopring Foundation โดย 20% ของจำนวนนี้ถูกแบ่งให้กับผู้ร่วมก่อตั้ง และจะถูกล็อกไว้เป็นเวลา 2 ปี ส่วนที่เหลือ 10% ถูกเก็บไว้สำหรับช่วยจ่ายค่าแก๊สให้กับพันธมิตรและการทำธุรกรรมบนเครือข่ายในระยะแรก
20% ถูกแบ่งให้กับ Loopring Ecosystem Advancement Fund (LEAF) ซึ่งเป็นระบบที่ออกแบบมาเพื่อกระตุ้นให้เกิดการพัฒนาเครือข่ายผ่านการมอบโทเคน LRC เป็นรางวัลให้กับผู้มีส่วนร่วมกับเครือข่าย

LRC or Loopring, the Network that Offer 100 Times Cheaper Gas Fee
Many of you might already be familair with Layer 2 which works in tandem with Layer 1 network like Ethereum. Speaking of which, at Bitkub Exchange, we also listed many Layer-2 token such as IMX, MATIC and OP.
Another upcoming Layer 2 we will be explaining today is LRC or Loopring. It is currently the top 5 Layer 2 with highest Total Value Locked. (According to L2BEAT on 23 June 2022)
In this article we will learn about what is LRC or Loorping? What about the technology called zkRollup? Let’s continue with the article.
What is LRC?
LRC or Loopring Protocol Token is a ERC-20 standard on Ethereum and has main use cases with Loopring network as follows
1.Used to pay gas fee when transacting with the network.
2.Being the rewards for Liquidity Providers
3.Grant the right to participate in network’s governance.
What is Loopring?
Loopring is a Layer 2 blockchain network that utilizes zkRollup technology to make a summary of transactions on the network before sending them to be recorded on the Layer 1 like Ethereum.
Loopring focuses on value transferring and decentralized exchange (DEX). The network is designed with efficiency and security while maintaining a gas fee at the lowest rate. They claim that the gas fee on Loopring is 100 times cheaper than Ethereum.
What is zkRollup?
zkRollup or Zero-Knowledge Rollups is one of the technology many Layer 2 networks adopt. It is a protocol for making a summary of a set of transactions before sending them to the Layer 1 network in order to reduce some workload off the main network while offering higher speed and lower gas fees.
Time for some real-world example. If you want to buy 5 items from a convenience store, but the store has to issue 5 invoices, one for each item. That would be a time-consuming and expensive idea, because its require 5 times of the amount of resources required to do a simple transaction. So the store just simply rolls up all the items into 1 invoice.
This example is the main idea of Loopring. It sounds simple but a powerful idea nonetheless as it helps scale Ethereum resulting in the transactions on Loopring trends to be much faster and cheaper than the Ethereum.
Loopring Creator
Loopring was developed by Loopring Foundation with Daniel Wang, a software engineer and Chinese entrepreneur as its co-founder and CEO.
Daniel graduated with Bachelor degree in Computer science from the University of Science and Technology of China and Master degree in the same field from Arizona State University. Prior to Loopring, he has worked with many leading tech companies such as being the Software Engineer at Boston Scientific, Engineer Director at JD.com, and Senior Software Engineer at Google. He also co-founded Yunrang (Beijing) Information Technology Ltd. and Coinport Technology Ltd., a cryptocurrency firm.
However, on 3 February 2022, Steve Guo who was the Chief of Technology of Loopring was appointed as a new CEO. Daniel will continue his work as an advisor to create a long-term strategy for Loopring.
Steve Guo started his study in the University of Science and Technology of China when he was only 15, and graduated with a Computer Science PhD in 2005. He also worked with Intel as its Software Engineer.
LRC Allocation
According to Coinmarketcap and Messari, LRC was crowdfunded via ICO in 2017 and collected 120,014 ETH or about $45 millions at that time. The LRC was created with the maximum supply of 1,374,513,896 LRC and with the following allocation.
50% was allocated to investors without locking period.
30% was allocated to the Loopring Foundation, with 20% of this portion allocated to co-founders and will be locked for the first 2 years. Another 10% will be used to pay gas fees for partners and transactions on the network during its early stage.
20% was allocated to the Loopring Ecosystem Advancement Fund (LEAF) which is the system that incentivizes Loopring ecosystem development by granting LRC as reward for those who participate with the network.
