Bitkub Chain has announced the year plan of 2024 with the upgrade to become the Long-Lasting National Blockchain Ecosystem in Thailand
Bitkub Chain, Thailand’s leading blockchain network, has been dedicated to becoming a blockchain infrastructure for over three years with over 1 million Bitkub NEXT user accounts, up to 400 million transactions, and several dApps have been launched in the ecosystem, all with the goal to be Thailand’s Long-Lasting National Blockchain Ecosystem.
In 2023, several interesting projects and events occurred in the Bitkub Chain, including the transition of the consensus mechanism from Proof-of-Stake Authority (PoSA) to Proof-of-Stake (PoS), the launch of Bitkub NEXT 2.0, Bitkub NFT 2.0, and the BKC Developer Pitch, among others.
In 2024, according to the forecast of the growth of the blockchain market, enhancing Bitkub Chain is an opportunity to improve and expand blockchain technology, making it more accessible to enterprises, organizations, governments, and others. This would allow for faster, more transparent, secure, and cost-effective blockchain transactions, greatly decentralizing and providing economic opportunities for Thailand, which can be briefly summarized as follows:
1. Bitkub Chain Upgrade: The Bitkub Chain system will be optimized from 1,000 transactions per second to 5,000, with intentions to go up to 100,000 transactions per second in the future to accommodate additional users.
2. KAP-22: A new token system that migrates the use of points from a Web2 to a Web3 system, increasing the value for businesses that utilize point systems while keeping features such as redeeming points for rewards and expiration dates.
3. New functions for Bitkub Chain dApps such as logging into Bitkub NEXT through social media accounts for easier access.
4. Bitkub Chain Voting System: A blockchain-based voting system that is secure, transparent, and verifiable and can serve as a model for businesses and industry voting systems.
5. Using Bitkub Chain solutions to uphold every aspect of tourism in Thailand.
6. Adopting blockchain technologies in the media and entertainment industries to foster connections and activities between artists and fans.
7. Community engagement and development programs to encourage community members to participate together.
8. Bitkub Metaverse Phase 2: The Bitkub Metaverse, which was launched last year, will be updated very soon with new gaming mechanisms along with additional features to make the metaverse more pleasant.
