Finish what you started, it’s simple. The decisions you make and the actions you take will dictate your lifestyle, your repuation, and your character. When you set forth to complete something, you’ve already taken a toughest step and believed in yourself, so why do we give up when things get rough?

Every endeavor you take, in your career, relationship, or elsewhere, will face roadblocks and barriers. If you give up, every strand of progress you made will be taken from you.

Life will present us with a few hundred inflection points where our character is defined. That’s it. There’s no going back once you’ve made your decisions.

These moments can either build or break your character, so learn to stay focused, and use all of the little wins that you’ve had up until that point to fuel your drive and discipline to keep pushing through.

When you give up, you’re not only hurting yourself and your confidence, but you’re also hurting those around you. You’re letting down people who may be relying on you, and they may start to lose their trust in you. Or even worse, you may be letting down people who actually believe in you. It’s very hard to find people in this world that genuinely care about your success and want to invest in you, so if anything, make it a goal to not disappoint those people.

Seeing things through doesn’t mean that you need to have all the answers. Rather, it means you must be willing to ask the tough questions, put in the work to research a solution, and grind day in and day out until you can say you’ve done the best of your ability. That’s all we can do.

No one cares whether you have a polished, perfect, result to show at the end of it all. The heart and dedication you’ve put into your work will speak volumes, and that’s all that matters.
