  • The president of Nintendo died unexpectedly on July 11, 2015. Not only was Satoru an confessed gamer and game programmer in his own right, he was a visionary that bucked established gaming conventions, not once but twice, first with the handheld DS and then again with his blue ocean strategy (the idea that gamers come from all walks of life) with the Wii.
