Bittrex Partners with Rain on New Digital Asset Trading Platform in Middle East and North Africa Region
Bittrex and Rain Management WLL (Rain), announced a partnership to launch the first fully licensed digital asset trading platform serving customers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The partnership combines Rain’s team of trading experts with extensive experience in the MENA region and Bittrex’s cutting-edge trading technology and security. By partnering with Bittrex, Rain has access to all cryptocurrencies and digital tokens available on both the Bittrex and Bittrex International platforms, enabling it to offer MENA customers one of the largest selections of digital assets in the world. Additionally, the new platform offers multiple Middle Eastern currency/BTC pairs including BHD/BTC, SAR/BTC, AED/BTC and KWD/BTC.

Rain previously took part in the Bahrain Central Bank’s blockchain sandbox initiative and now operates within the Crypto-Asset (CRA) legal framework established by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). Rain is the first licensed digital asset trading platform in the Middle East and has been working with regulators in the region for the past three years to help drive adoption of blockchain innovation in Bahrain and the broader MENA region.
